Andrew Yamashiro

Andrew is entering his third season with Chandler Gilbert, he has 11 years of coaching experience. Most recently he was the Head Coach at Mountain Pointe High School and Higley High School where he won a state championship in 2018 and was a runner-up state finalist while at Mountain Pointe. Andrew also coached at the NAIA level with Benedictine University where he worked primarily with the middles and trained blocking systems. Benedictine was NAIA National Runner-Up in 2018 and won the National Championship in 2019. Andrew also coaches at the club level with Aspire where he works with a variety of age groups.
As a player, Andrew prepped at Hamilton High School before playing at Arizona State University on the club team for one season.
