Head coach Mark Underwood enters his seventh season as the Chandler Gilbert College golf coach.
Assistant coach Roy Deki begins his second season as the team’s analytical swing instructor.
When Covid19 ended the 2020 season the Coyotes were one victory away from winning their second consecutive Arizona Junior College Athletic Association championship and top seed trip to the National Tournament in Garden City, Kansas. Including last season’s five player team 19 Coyote Women golfers have qualified and or participated in season ending National Championship Tournaments since the 2016 season.
The women’s program builds it strength on developing great competitive practice players committed to building their game to reach the next level. Las Colinas Golf Course southeast of campus provides a year round venue for the team to practice and play. Ethne Cox, Ed Yeager, Russ Luce, and Adam Wagner provide a fantastic support group through the CGC Athletic Department to build and oil our team success.
Las Colinas Golf Club in Queen Creek has served as the year round practice and tournament host for the Chandler Gilbert women’s golf program for the last seven years. Owner Steve Dallas and head pro Ross Farley have provided the Coyotes with wonderful guest privileges year round at the course to grow their game.
