THE RETURN - Alex Lobeck returns to the Coyotes as the Head Men's and Women's Golf Coach

Alex Lobeck will begin his second tenure as the Head Coach at Chandler-Gilbert Community College in the Fall of 2025.  Before returning to CGCC, Lobeck served as the lead golf coach at Elite Golf Schools of Arizona, where he mentored and coached young golfers, ranging in age from 4 to 18.

Lobeck previously held the position of Head Coach for the Men's Golf Team at CGCC in the spring of 2022, where he led the team for three seasons. There, he worked with both the Men's and Women's teams, leading practices, preparing for tournaments, and coaching during competitions. Lobeck played a key role in guiding the Women's team to four Conference Championships and multiple National Championship appearances.

Alongside his passion for coaching, Lobeck is currently pursuing his Class A PGA Membership while working through the PGM Program as a member of the Southwest PGA.

Lobeck has also had an impressive playing career, competing as a professional golfer for seven years within the Southwest PGA Section. His accomplishments include qualifying for the Waste Management Phoenix Open Monday Qualifier in both 2024 and 2025. Before turning professional, Lobeck played two years of NCAA Division I golf at North Dakota State University. Before transferring to NDSU, Lobeck played 2 years at Mesa Community College where he helped lead his team to a runner-up finish at the National Championship his freshman year.

A native of Mandan, North Dakota, Lobeck holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from North Dakota State University and currently resides in Chandler, Arizona.
