College Basketball Showdown: College of Southern Nevada Triumphs Over Chandler-Gilbert Community College

In an exciting college basketball matchup on November 14, 2025, the College of Southern Nevada (CSN) emerged victorious against Chandler-Gilbert Community College (CGCC) with a final score of 89-79. The game, held at Chandler, Arizona, showcased impressive performances from both teams, but CSN's superior shooting and teamwork ultimately secured their win.


The first half was a closely contested battle, with CSN leading by a narrow margin of 47-45. Ryan Raad and Ivoryon Cuffee were instrumental for CSN, each contributing significantly to the scoreboard. Raad, with his sharp shooting, scored 21 points, including four three-pointers, while Cuffee matched his point total with a combination of inside and outside scoring.


CSN extended their lead in the second half, outscoring CGCC 42-34. The team's shooting accuracy was a key factor, as they maintained a 50% field goal percentage and an impressive 52% from beyond the arc. Drake Watanabe also played a crucial role, adding 15 points with five three-pointers, further solidifying CSN's offensive strength.

For CGCC, Theophilus Mansell and Jayven Price were standout performers, scoring 20 and 18 points, respectively. Mansell's aggressive play and Price's all-around contributions kept CGCC competitive throughout the game. However, CGCC struggled with their shooting, particularly from the three-point line, where they managed only 29.4%.


The College of Southern Nevada's balanced attack and superior shooting led them to a well-deserved victory over Chandler-Gilbert Community College.
