Last Friday 11/1, the Men's team started off their season against #13 Salt Lake Community College. The Coyotes competed with the Bruins throughout the 1st half, ending the 1st half of play tied 36-36. The Bruins pulled away in the 2nd half outscoring the Coyotes 44-21. The Bruins ended the game on top with the final score 80-57.
- Tate (#24) lead the way in the scoring department against SLCC, ending the game with 20 PTS (5-17FG).
- On the boards, two Coyotes ended the game with 7 boards (#24 Tate and #33 Wood) and two Coyotes dishes out a team high of 3 assists (#24 Tate and #11 Wood).
The following game the Men came out strong with a convincing in 102-67 over Luke Air Force Base. The Coyotes dominated on the offensive end putting up 51 pts in both the first and second half.
- Leading scorer, Tate (#24) ended with 21 PTS on 8 of 17 shooting.
- Williams (#34) finished with 19 PTS, 9 REBS, and 6 ASTS.
The Coyotes finished the week with a win against Arizona Christian JV 77-70. As a team the Men shot 40% from the 3 and 46.7% from the field.
- Tate (#24) lead all scorers with 22 PTS and 9 REBS.
