Tough Stretch for Baseball As They Play Six Games in Six Days

The Chandler-Gilbert Baseball team is in the middle of their toughest test in their young season as they host five games and travel for one this week.  With games on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, the Coyotes look to rely on the hot bats of Tristan Peters (.405 avg), Mike Clapperton(.421 avg), and Garrett Thorton (.267 avg).

The Coyotes are lead on the mound this season by sophomore right-handed pitcher Aaron Makil who has a 0.75 ERA, fellow sophomore Ben Thompson (2.77 ERA), and freshman standout Jon Neely (2.08 ERA).  Ryan Turner leads the conference in saves (3) in five appearances.

The Coyotes suffered a 7-3 loss on Monday to Okanagan College and a 15-inning, 4-5 lloss at GateWay Tuesday.  The Coyotes return home to host GateWay on Wednesday, along with home games Friday vs. Arizona Christian and a Saturday doubleheader against Yavapai College.
