Chandler, AZ - The Glendale Gauchos baseball team has won the 2023 NJCAA Region I, Div. II Championship against the Chandler-Gilbert Coyotes.

The Gauchos swept the Coyotes in the best-of-three series, winning 4-2 on Thursday and 12-3 on Friday.

It is the first time since the 2003 season that Glendale has won the region tournament.

Along with the region title, the Gauchos have punched their ticket to the 2023 NJCAA Div. II Baseball World Series in Enid, OK.

The World Series will take place from May 27th - June 3rd at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.
