The #2 overall seed Scottsdale Community College Men's Basketball team got a hard fought playoff victory tonight with their win over the #3 seed Chandler-Gilbert Community College. The Artichokes got off to hot start hitting their first three 3-point attempts of the night, but the Coyotes battled back and closed the gap with SCC taking a narrow 31-29 halftime lead. In the second half Scottsdale got off to a good start again converting on their first few possessions while getting stops on the defensive end. Scottsdale would extend their lead to double-digits and close out the game with a 68-54 victory. Scottsdale was led by Carson Kelly who finished with 18 points and 5 rebounds. Isaiah Broady was big off the bench with 17 points and 9 rebounds. Scottsdale will now move onto the Region 1 Division II Championship game which will take place at Pima Community College on Friday, March 10th at 7:00 PM.
