Women's Soccer Gaining Playoff Momentum

Chandler, AZ--- The Coyote Women's Soccer team won its third game in a row on Tuesday evening, this one over the visiting Glendale Gauchos who commuted over from the West Side. In a must win game for the home Yotes, they came away with the 2-0 victory keeping their hopes of a playoff birth alive. Ali Davis was electric for the Coyotes with her two assists on the night. She had one assist to Faith Rana and one to Juanita Mireles who each scored a goal apiece. Both goals came in the first half and it was up to the solid Coyote defense in the second half to secure the victory. Samantha Haug had five saves to make her mark on the game in goal. The Coyotes travel to Mesa Community College in their next game with a playoff spot on the line. 

The second match of the day saw the Men's Soccer team drop one to Glendale Community College 5-1. Kyle Brereton scored the lone goal for the Coyotes. They too take on MCC in their next match.
