Chandler, Arizona-- The Coyote Women’s Golf Team led by Sophie Coleman and Hope Morales are closing in on a trip to National Junior College Golf Championship in Ormond Beach, Florida at the Plantation Bay golf and Country Club May 10-13. Through the completion of 4 of 7 conference tournaments Coleman and Morales are both ranked among the top 30 junior college golfers in the nation. Each player has earned medals in each tournament this season awarded to the top six place individual place finishers. Head coach Mark Underwood and assistant coach Roy Deki feel that with a strong month of practice in April both players will put themselves in a strong position to earn All American honors at the National Championship. The top 18 individual place finishers at the tournament earn All American status. Coyote Women’s Golf-Bombing It To Nationals!!!
