Chandler, AZ-- Sunday, Sunday, SUNDAY! No it wasn't Monster Trucks...it was the Coyote Volleyball home opener! Sunday evening the Yotes hosted Williston State College, a team from North Dakota, in the first home match of the season. The home team won 3-0 in straight sets. A great feat to start the season.

The Coyote Volleyball team returned home after traveling back from Yuma, AZ as they participated in the AZ Western College season opening tournament. At the tournament, they lost to a highly ranked Salt Lake Community College team but bounced back the next day with a win over College of Southern Nevada.

The volleyball team record sits at 3-1 in the infancy of the season. The next game is Wednesday night as they host AZ Western College in the first game of ACCAC play. The game starts at 7 PM.
