Chandler, AZ-- The Softball team had their home opener on Saturday against Paradise Valley College, and second opponent of ACCAC play. The Saturday doubleheader resulted in one win and one loss for the Coyotes. Despite scoring four runs in the bottom of the 7th innings, the come back was not enough to get over the hump in the first game of the day. But the Coyotes prevailed in the second game with a resounding 9-1 victory. Melia Hecht was 2-3 with 4 RBI and Paige Salazar also contributed with 2 RBI of her own. The Coyote Softball team is 2-2 overall in conference play and prepares to head out West to Glendale College on Tuesday afternoon.
