Phoenix, AZ-- The Softball team went on the road to battle against the Scottsdale College Artichokes last week in two must win games and came away with two much needed victories 13-6 and 12-7. Those two wins cemented the Coyotes into Region 1 Playoff play and they will now travel to face the top seed South Mountain College on Thursday at 4 PM. The Coyotes earned the number 4 seed with a record of 20-33. In 53 games the Coyotes have 288 runs scored and 17 home runs. They have been playing their best ball as of late and are optimistic about an upset over SMCC who has been atop the standings all year long.
