Coyote Golf Announces Change in Leadership

Chandler, AZ-- Chander Gilbert Community College Athletic Director, Russell Luce has announced the hiring of Alex Lobeck as the new Head Men's Golf Coach. Luce said, "Coach Lobeck will be a welcome addition to our department. After looking through a number of qualified candidates, Alex stood out due to his tremendous playing experience within this conference and his experience competing at the Division 1 level. Additionally, he knows what it takes to be a college level coach and we cannot wait for him to start working with the young men on our golf team." 

Lobeck comes to Chandler Gilbert after serving as the assistant Men's Golf Coach at Mesa Community College for the past three years; where he also competed for two seasons as a player. After playing for Mesa, Lobeck transferred to North Dakota State University and graduated in 2017 with a degree in Psychology.  Lobeck also plays golf professionally around the Southwest on mini tours & state opens. He is also the Head Boys Golf Coach of Queen Creek High School in Queen Creek, AZ. Please welcome Alex Lobeck to the Coyote community!
