New Coyote Athletic Trainer

Chandler,AZ-- With the retirement of Ric Moreno, Chandler Gilbert Community College Athletic Department is happy to announce the hiring of Chantal King as the new Head Athletic Trainer. King returns to CGCC for her second stint after a few years in Nebraska at Hastings College. King brings over a decade of experience as an Athletic Trainer to CGCC with stops all over the Valley including McClintock High School and North Canyon High School. King earned her professional degree from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in December 2010. She then went on to earn her post-professional degree from A.T. Still University-Arizona School of Health Sciences with a Master of Science in Athletic Training in August 2013.

Athletic Director Russ Luce said, "As a head coach I worked with Chantel for years and I am certain you will feel as I do, she is caring, thoughtful and interested in our people fully. She is what we are, all in." 

Lyndsey Gough, who was an integral part of the Athletic Training room and fan favorite amongst Coyote fans everywhere, will be returning to her role as Assistant Athletic Trainer. CGCC is excited to bring on King and eager to begin another promising set of seasons in the 2023-2024 Academic year.
