Chandler, AZ-- The CGCC Men's Basketball team rolled to an easy victory over the visiting Mesa Community College Thunderbirds on Saturday afternoon winning 93-66. Stifling defense lead the way for the home Coyotes. Justin Fisher, the sophomore point guard had 24 points to lead all Coyote scorers, but it was a balanced attack that won them the game including 14 points each from Andre Harris and Jakub Lloyd. The team was precise from 3-point range shooting 10 of 19 from behind the arc.
This is their 8th win in a row and their record now stands at an amazing 25 wins with only two losses. The Men's team is looking to clinch a spot in the Region 1 Division II playoffs as the number one seed and will be hosting the 4th seed who is still to be determined.
