Chandler, AZ--- The Men's basketball team had a historic 2022-2023 season including 21 wins, a playoff birth for the second consecutive year and it saw Head Coach Steve Silsby win his 100th game as the skipper for the Coyotes. The 2023-2024 season will present new challenges, but Coach Silsby and his guys are excited about the challenge.

Silsby said, "For three or four seasons in a row we had a lot of continuity with guys who had been around a few years for various reasons, this year we have a lot of new faces but talent across the board and the potential to do big things."

With changes being made across the conference, the door is wide open for the Coyote crew to make a run at a Region 1 title and with a new "at-large" bid system being instituted for NJCAA Division II basketball teams, the chances of the team making the national tournament are a whole lot greater than slim to none.

The Men's Basketball team begins their season on Friday evening November 3rd at home against the College of Southern Nevada at 7:30 PM. Their game is followed by the Women's team home opener at 5:30 PM.
