Queen Creek, AZ-- The Chandler Gilbert Athletics Department and CGCC Golf teams are pleased to announce a partnership with Las Colinas Golf Course. Las Colinas, located in Queen Creek, Arizona, will be the home course for Coyote Men's and Women's Golf. Las Colinas is a beautiful and dynamic course, the 18 hole challenging yet playable course was designed by Mike Asmundson and features elements found at all the top courses in the world. Numerous mature trees, native grasses and plants and various obstacles really create an inviting atmosphere for golf. The mountain range backdrop gives a true Arizona feel and you never know what sort of local wild life you might see roaming the course.
Athletic Director Russ Luce on the partnership, "We are ecstatic to create this partnership and very grateful for Las Colinas allowing us to create this opportunity with them. The student athletes on our golf team are competing for championships and we know Las Colinas Golf Course will be a valuable piece of all the grea things our golf teams will accomplish. I know our coaches are excited to get out there!"
Women's Golf Head Coach Mark Underwood said, "I'm positive Las Colinas will provide an awesome experience to our players and we are lucky to partner with them. I know for a fact it is an awesome course and will be a major contributor to our success."
