Chandler, AZ-- The CGCC Women's Basketball team had a mid season non-conference game at home against the Park University JV team on Thursday night in which they won 80-64. The Coyotes were in the lead for the entire 40 minutes and were in control as they kept the visiting Buccaneers out of striking distance throughout the entirety of the game. Mya Johnson, the reigning ACCAC Player of the Week shined with 25 total points to go along with 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Steph Da Silva also had a nice all aroung game with her double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds. Siarra Beck and Acacia Byaus, the two post players for the Coyotes, each contributed 10 points to provide a balanced scoring attack for the Coyotes.
The Coyote Women's Basketball team moves to one game below .500 with five wins and six losses. Their next game is December 29 when they host SAGU-American Indian College at home.
