Chandler, AZ-- The accolades just keep rolling in for the CGCC Coyote Volleyball team! Jada Blake was recently named a NJCAA Division II First Team All-American, this means she was recognized as one of the top players in the entire country. The outside hitter had a phenomenal season for the Coyotes, amassing 373.5 total points last year. Her 346 kills and 4.4 kills per set were amongst the highest in the country. Her best performances came against the best competition, a trait all great players possess, her 26 kills against a highly ranked Glendale team in October showed just how explosive of an athlete she is and how she deserves to be recognized with the nations best volleyball players.
Blake was clearly a key player for the Coyotes who went 15-7 in 2022 with their seven losses all coming to opponents ranked within the top 10 nationally. Congrats to Jada Blake on her well deserved award!
