Fletcher Brown enters his third season as the Chandler Gilbert College Head Women's Basketball Coach for the 2023-2024 season. The 2022-2023 season saw the Coyotes make the ACCAC playoffs for the first time since 2017.

Previously, Brown spent four seasons as the Head Women's Basketball Coach at the University of Maine Fort Kent. During his time at UMFK, Brown lead his team to three consecutive trips to the USCAA National Tournament while compiling a 50-31 record. During the 2018-2019 season, Brown's team won 23 games, lead the USCAA in assists and steals per game, allowed the fewest points per game defensively, secured the number one overall seed heading into the USCAA National Tournament and eventually made an appereance in the USCAA National Championship game, falling to the University of Mississippi for Women. 

Prior to becoming a head coach, Brown spent one season as the Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at the University of Maine Fort Kent helping guide the team to a 23-9 record. During his time as both an assistant and a head coach, Brown has been fortunate to recruit and develop two USCAA National Players of the Year, two First Team All-Americans, five Second Team All-Americans and one USCAA National Student Athlete of the Year. 

"Coach Fletch" was selected to speak at the 2023 Women's Basketball Coaches Association Coaching Conference at the Final Four in Dallas, TX. He spoke on the challenge, and reward of coaching small college basketball. It is something he has a lot of experience working with. 

Before getting into coaching, the San Francisco, CA native was an All-City selection for Balboa High School before competing for two seasons at Contra Costa Community College in San Pablo, California. Brown earned a scholarship to the University of Maine at Fort Kent where he finished his collegiate career. Brown graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree in English from the University of Maine Fort Kent and a Masters in Leadership and Organizational Studies from the University of Southern Maine.
