Chandler, AZ-- The number one ranked soccer teams in all of NJCAA Division II in both the Men's and Women's divisions came to Chandler, Arizona to take on the CGCC Coyotes on Tuesday night. Despite rain and thunderstorms lingering throughout the area, the Women's game kicked off and the defending National Champion Phoenix College Bears beat the home Coyotes 6-0. Two key starters for CGCC went down with injuries early in the game and the Coyotes were never able to gain any momentum offensively.

The Men's game was postponed at halftime due to lightning hovering around the field and when the game resumes, the score will be 4-1. Stay tuned for a make up date!

Both teams will host Yavapai College on Tuesday the 19th. The Women kick off at 5 PM followed by the Men's game at 7:30.
