Chandler, AZ-- If you are a college basketball team and you win 20 games in one single season, that quantifies the team as "really good." No debate, no ifs ands or buts about it. 20 wins in a season equals "really good" status. The Coyote Men's Basketball team, lead by Head Coach Steve Silsby won their 20th game of the season with a 99-48 blowout of the visiting Phoenix College Bears on Saturday afternoon. Andre Harris had 23 points to lead all scorers and Jakub Lloyd contributed mightily with a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds.

The Men's Basketball record stands at 20-2 and they are currently ranked as the 10th team in the country. Their next conference game is on February 14th at Scottsdale Community College.

The Women's team proceeded the Men's game with their own win against Phoenix College. The 64-55 victory was their 11th win of the season, which surpassed their win total from all of last year. In Fletcher Brown's tenure as the Head Coach they won seven games in his first season, 10 last season and already have 11 wins so far through this season with plenty of games left to go. The Women's team is headed in the right direction!

Shiryl Yazzie was a superstar on Saturday with her 15 points, 6 rebounds, 3 blocks and 2 assists. Mya Way shined off the bench with her 14 points including four 3-pointers and Steph Da Silva had a solid all-around game with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 3 steals.

The Women's team also will compete next against SCC on Valentine's Day.
