Chandler, AZ--- Both Coyote basketball teams open the season at 2-0 after cruising to wins on Monday and Tuesday this week. On Monday evening the Men's team rolled over the Ottawa University Junior Varsity squad 127-51. Everyone played well for Coach Silsby's squad and each member of the team was able to get in the scoring column.

Tuesday evening saw the Coyote Women's Basketball team beat Arizona Christian Varsity Reserve squad 65-47. Jordan Zackery had a great all around game with 12 points including two 3-pointers and she added in 6 rebounds and 2 assists.

The Men's team plays again Wednesday evening at 6 PM against the Benedictine University Mesa team and the Women follow that up Thursday with a matchup at 7 PM against the College of Southern Nevada.
