Chandler, Arizona-- Despite Javi Gutierrez going 2-4 with an RBI, the Coyote baseball team fell to the visiting Mesa T-birds 13-6 on Tuesday afternoon. Three errors by the home team contributed to the T-Bird scoring barrage and eventually to the loss.

However, Tally Wright, for his phenomenal outing against Yavapai College last week, was named the ACCAC Pitcher of the Week. This is the second time he has earned this award. He went the full seven innings, with zero earned runs and compiled 10 strikeouts in a 4-3 Coyote win.
