Chandler, Arizona-- Jon Watson and the Coyote baseball team split their most recent home doubleheader, in unique fashion as they played two different teams. The first game was a lopsided victory over Canadian school, University of Fraser Valley in which they were victorious, 17-2. Brent Renteria was 3-3 on the day with three runs scored and one RBI. Carlos Rico was outstanding on the mound totaling nine strikeouts!
In the second game of the day, the Coyotes lost to Central AZ College 9-2 as they struggled to gain momentum offensively against strong pitching from the visiting Vaqueros. The baseball teams record is 13-19 and they prepare to face off with Cochise College at 12 and 3 PM Tuesday (3/22/22) afternoon at home. Come on out to the yard to check out our baseball team!
