The Chandler-Gilbert men's basketball team will travel the nearly 20 miles to Scottsdale to take on the Artichokes in the semifinals of the ACCAC Basketball Championships. The Coyotes ended the season 11-11 in conference, good for the #3 seed in the tournament. The game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 6th at 7:00PM.
Two-time ACCAC Player of the Week and NJCAA All-Region I (D2) 2nd Team, Ilisia Washington, lead the Coyotes in scoring with 11.9 PPG (ACCAC), 42% from the field, and 44% from beyond the arch. After Washington, the Coyotes have balanced scoring from a multitude of players, maily DJ Tate (9.3 PPG), Blake Williams (8.1 PPG), and Zane Jowaiszas (8.2 PPG).
