Chandler, Arizona-- Tally Wright certainly earned his post game shower as he was filthy all afternoon for the Coyote baseball squad. In all seriousness, Tally Wright put on an incredible display of pitching going 7 innings strong, only giving up 8 hits with no earned runs and 10 strikeouts. Wright persevered through a top of the 7th error which put runners on 2nd and 3rd for the visiting Yavapai Roughriders. Up only one run, Wright delivered a nasty off speed pitch with two outs in the inning and two strikes on the batter that buckled the batters knees, striking out the batter and sealing the victory for the Coyotes.

The Coyotes came away with the 4-3 victory in game one but succumbed to the talented Yavapai team 9-1 in game two.

Coyote baseball has a record of 19-24 and prepares to host Phoenix College Friday night at home! First pitch is scheduled for 6 PM.
