Phoenix, AZ-- The 2024 version of the Coyote Softball teams season came to an end in the Region 1 Postseason tournament over the weekend at Phoenix College. Despite beating South Mountain in their first game, the Yotes lost to Phoenix College 5-3 and then in a must win situation, lost to South Mountain 7-5. Region 1 postseason play for softball is a double elimination style tournament.
The Coyote softball team finished their season with a strong record of 26-21 and had two of its players make the All-ACCAC team and All-Region 1 team. Coyote Athletic Director Russell Luce said, "Coach Bry and her staff do a tremendous job with this program, they have made the postseason so many times in a row we have now lost count. Her programs culture is strong and I know the team will get over the hump soon. We are very proud of Coach Bry and the team."
