Chandler, Arizona-- The Coyote Men's Soccer team struggled last season, let's just be honest. However, coming out of the pandemic and with a new coaching staff being hired late, it was difficult to get the program off the ground. Now with that first truncated and pandemic poisoned season under his belt, new Head Coach Zack Kampf is ready to take Coyote Men's Soccer to the top.
Becoming champions of the always tough ACCAC will be no easy task but Coach Kampf is excited to give it his best shot. Kampf said, "I'm very excited to get started this season, we worked hard in recruiting and I'm confident we have some great young players. I know we can give this thing a great run." CGCC Athletic Director Russell Luce mentioned about Kampf, "He's young and eager to get to work, despite his young age he brings a lot of knowledge of the game of soccer to the department and we are looking forward to seeing what the young men can do."
The Men's soccer program opens up conference play at home on August 23rd vs. Gateway College at 5:30 PM.
